Event - Kid with Cancer Camp @ Camp Angelos 2012

THIS is why we volunteer. This is a picture of a very happy boy at Camp Agape - Kids n Cancer camp on Saturday - July 28. 

To see the smiles on these kids faces just about brings tears to my eyes. When I tell people about this camp, I always feel my throat tighten up and my voice cracks as I describe to them how our Chapter helps these kids, their siblings and parents experience the joy of fishing. Some have never fished before, can you imagine? This is one of the main reasons I became a Steelheader, to be able to be part of these events are personally gratifying and makes my heart feel happy.
