Event - California Sea Lion Town Hall

California sea lions continue to threaten the safety of Oregon fish and fishermen on  the Willamette River. The Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife (ODFW) has implemented non-lethal hazing of these sea lions during the past two years and I passed

HB 3255 (2011) to increase the frequency of ODFW agents here at Willamette Falls during prime fishing starting next year.

How successful has this sea lion hazing been? What more should be done differently next year?
