News - November 8th Steelhead clinic a big success

Our third clinic in conjunction with ODFW was even a bit better than our last one, as we smooth out the “how to” of it each time. With 30 students registered via the ODFW website for this effort, our volunteers acquitted themselves ably.

We received excellent reviews from the students, both on the quality of instruction, individual help from our volunteers and food provided. All in all, I have to say it was a gold star effort by our group, and you made me very proud.

Our Next Fish Along

Originally set for November 15th, some of those who’d like to participate will be volunteering that day at the Association auction and Banquet.

I have re-set the date to Saturday December 6th. Meet in the Glenn Otto Park parking lot at 8 AM. Some of our new members may be coming (with all gear they bought the day after Thanksgiving…) so be ready to give them some helpful advice.

This will be about a half day of fishing , all from the shore. See you there!
